Referral
To initiate an appointment, please consult your General Practitioner (GP).
We will need your GP to send us a referral for processing.
Clarification
Upon receiving a referral from your GP, our psychiatrist will review the referral to determine if we are the best person to offer the service and to clarify any doubts.
The psychiatrist will then request that a few forms be completed (Depending on the nature of the referral) and returned to us before your appointment.
Bookings
Our admin staff will contact you to inform you of the fees and determine a suitable time for both parties.
Our admin staff will then send you some questionnaires to complete. Furthermore, depending on the nature of the appointment, we might require further documents, such as school/specialist/allied health reports, to be provided as collateral information.
These documents will be required at least 24
hours before the day of the appointment.
Preparation
You can consider bringing a support person along if required for the appointment.
Upon arrival, inform the receptionist of your appointment.
Relax until your appointment with the psychiatrist.
A follow-up appointment will be organized following the appointment.
If you miss a consultation without notice, total fees apply, and you will be placed on the wait list if a further appointment is required.
Cancellation on the day (<12 hours) without reason: Full fees might apply.
